Branching Out

One of the better shots... between the shallow depth of field caused by high-diopter macros lenses and the questionable focusing that's not readily apparent in the LCD viewfinder, there are plenty of opportunities in mantis photography to capture bad images.
     Here I even managed to capture his head in the black background patch... an achievement that took a few shots.
