Checking out the captives

We've lived in this home over two years now and I've only seen two preying mantises before this summer. I thought the baby was the last of the lot, but I walked out to the terrace to feed the goldfish and found they had company. So here I am photographing my fourth mantis in the last two months. I'm starting to worry about becoming typecast.
