Shatin Racecourse RailAfter seventeen years, I visited one of Hong Kong's two horse-racing venues for the first time.Leela and I were invited to dinner at the Jockey Club in Shatin by a member who didn't realize it was racing day (he rides but doesn't bet, so he's only interested in his own horse). Our path from the members' parking lot to the clubhouse took us along the track where I set the camera on a railing and shot this single photo before one of the security people -- of which there are many -- could stop me. |
